An agent introduces you to a supplier and steps aside. From that moment the risk is yours: the supplier's performance, the quality, the documentation, and the recourse if it all fails.

Melius does not operate that way. We buy at origin and sell to you. Your contract is with Melius Globe Limited — a Nigerian company with a registered identity (RC 8758883) and a balance sheet — not a counterparty you have never met and cannot pursue.

What "principal" changes in practice

When Melius is the seller of record:

- The supplier relationship stays ours, because your counterparty is us, not them. - If quality or delivery fails, your recourse is against a named Nigerian company, not a factory across an ocean. - Payment runs on a milestone settlement schedule through a controlled account — funds release as performance is independently verified, not on trust.

Why this is the honest model for Nigerian trade

Cross-border trade fails most often at the seams — the handoffs between introduced parties where no one carries the whole risk. By taking the position ourselves, we remove the seam. You are not buying an introduction; you are buying a delivered, verified good from a counterparty you can hold accountable.
