Melius supplies Nigerian-origin commodities to international buyers under documentation-complete, inspection-backed contracts, so the buyer deals with Melius as the accountable counterparty rather than an introduced chain of suppliers.

Sesame, cashew, ginger, cocoa and hibiscus, graded to specification, verified at origin, and shipped to buyers in China, the EU and beyond with every certificate in the pack.

Founder & CEO
Melius Globe was founded to bring institutional discipline to Nigerian trade, verification, milestone settlement and genuine counterparty accountability in a market where too many deals still run on trust. The founder brings a background in capital-markets data and international business, and leads the company's strategy and trade-desk operations.

When you open an account or contact us, we collect the information you provide, your name, company, email, country, role and the details of any enquiry or contract. When you use the platform we also collect standard technical information such as your login session.
3. How we use it
We use your information to operate your account, respond to enquiries, execute and settle contracts, verify counterparties, maintain compliance records, and communicate with you about your trade activity. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing
We share information only as needed to perform a transaction (for example with inspectors, banks or logistics partners), to comply with law, or to protect our rights. Counterparty and supplier identities are handled confidentially and are not disclosed to other users.
5. Security
Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing; sessions are protected with secure, http-only cookies; and access to administrative functions is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
6. Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal, tax and compliance obligations.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting info@meliusglobe.com, subject to our legal and regulatory obligations.

Terms of Trade
The terms on which Melius Globe Limited transacts with counterparties on this platform.
Terms version 1.0 · Effective 30 August 2026.
1. Parties and principal-counterparty status
These Terms govern trade between Melius Globe Limited (RC 8758883), Lagos, Nigeria ("Melius", "we") and the counterparty ("you"). Melius Globe Limited acts as principal and as the buyer or seller of record in every transaction conducted through the platform. Melius does not act as an agent, broker, facilitator or introducer. The counterparty's contractual recourse is against Melius Globe Limited.
2. Contractual framework and order of precedence
These Terms of Trade are the master contractual framework governing every transaction between Melius and its counterparties. Each firm quotation accepted through the platform creates a binding, transaction-specific contract that incorporates the version of these Terms in effect at the time of acceptance, and records the product and specification, quantity, price, currency, incoterm, origin and destination where applicable, inspection requirements, payment schedule, milestones, delivery period, rejection period and any special conditions. Where an accepted transaction contract contains a provision that differs from these Terms, that transaction-specific provision prevails for that transaction only.
3. Quotes and binding electronic acceptance
Positions shown are invitations to request a quote, not binding offers. A binding contract is formed only when Melius issues a firm quote with a stated validity period and you accept it through the platform. By accepting, you enter into a binding contract with Melius Globe Limited and agree to the quotation, its milestone schedule and the version of these Terms in effect at acceptance. Acceptance, messages and confirmations made through the platform are valid electronic communications. The accepted Terms version, acceptance time and content hash are preserved against that transaction even if the public Terms are later updated.
4. Settlement, milestones and payment release
Accepted contracts settle through a Melius-controlled account in the quoted currency, against a defined milestone schedule (execution, funding, allocation, inspection, shipping, delivery). Value is treated as released only as each milestone is completed. You are responsible for paying into the correct account shown on your contract and for submitting accurate proof of payment.
5. Incoterms, title and risk
Delivery terms use Incoterms® 2020 as published by the International Chamber of Commerce. The incoterm stated on your accepted quote governs the point at which cost, risk and responsibility for the goods pass between the parties. Title passes as specified in the contract.
6. Inspection, quality and rejection
Where the contract provides for pre-shipment inspection, the applicable milestone is completed on the basis of the inspection evidence and any agreed standard or specification. Any claim that goods do not conform must be raised within the rejection period stated in the contract; absent a stated period, without undue delay after delivery.
7. Taxes, duties and customs
Except as expressly stated in the accepted quote or required by the applicable incoterm, each party is responsible for the taxes, duties, levies and customs formalities that fall to it under the contract and applicable law.
8. Compliance: AML, sanctions and screening
Both parties will comply with applicable anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorist-financing and sanctions laws. Melius may screen counterparties and transactions, request supporting information, and suspend, delay or decline any dealing where screening, verification or sanctions considerations require it.
9. Anti-bribery and corruption
Both parties will comply with applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, and will not offer, give or accept any improper payment or inducement in connection with any transaction.
10. Import and export controls
Both parties will comply with applicable import and export control laws and licensing requirements for the goods and destinations concerned. You are responsible for confirming that your intended import or onward dealing is lawful in the destination.
11. Counterparty verification
Access to transact may require verification of your identity and business. We may request supporting information and may suspend or decline access where verification is incomplete or misuse is reasonably suspected.
12. Cancellation, termination, refunds and disputes
A contract may be cancelled through the platform before funds are secured. Once funds are secured, a contract may not be unilaterally cancelled; any change is handled as a termination, refund or dispute through the trade desk. Refunds, where due, are made by the route and within the period agreed for that matter.
13. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control (including natural disaster, war, civil unrest, embargo, port or carrier disruption, or governmental action). The affected party will notify the other and both will act reasonably to mitigate.
14. No guarantee of profit
Nothing on the platform is a promise or guarantee of profit, margin, price or return. Indicative figures are illustrative only and depend on market conditions.
15. Confidentiality
Supplier and counterparty identities and commercial terms are confidential and are not disclosed to other users.
16. Records and data retention
Executed trade records and their transaction history are retained in accordance with our legal, accounting, compliance and audit obligations, and are not deleted on account closure. Where an account is closed, personal information is anonymised where appropriate while these required records are preserved. Personal data is otherwise handled under our Privacy Policy.
17. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Melius is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability in respect of any contract is limited to the value of that contract.
18. Dispute resolution and governing law
These Terms and any contract formed under them are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith through the trade desk. Failing resolution, disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts (or to arbitration where the parties have agreed it in writing for a particular matter).
